Terms of Use
Last updated: November 20, 2025
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of community-packaged builds of Sollet Wallet and the website at sollet-wallet.net. By accessing the website or downloading, installing or using any community build, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use the software or the website. The software is based on open‑source components published upstream; your rights and obligations with respect to those components are determined by the applicable licenses included in the original repositories, which are incorporated by reference. Community packaging does not modify, supersede or replace upstream licensing, and no contributor to this project assumes an obligation to maintain, support or update any particular feature or distribution channel. You agree to use the software and website only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations; prohibited conduct includes attempting unauthorized access, distributing malware, interfering with the operation of services, engaging in chain or network abuse, or using the software to violate the rights of others. The website and wallet may reference or interoperate with third‑party services such as RPC providers, explorers, CDNs or package registries; such services are not under our control, may be unavailable or change without notice, and are governed by their own terms and policies, which you should review before use. You remain solely responsible for security and operational hygiene: verify checksums and signatures, test new binaries in an isolated environment, maintain offline backups of recovery phrases, protect devices with up‑to‑date operating systems and avoid entering seed phrases into websites or untrusted applications. The software and documentation are provided for technical and educational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax or legal advice; you bear all risk of loss arising from market volatility, software defects, network instability, chain reorganizations or misconfiguration. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and community builds are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non‑infringement; we do not warrant that the software, downloads or site will be error‑free, secure, uninterrupted or compatible with your environment, and we disclaim any duty to correct defects or provide updates. In no event shall the project or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, funds, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the website or the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages; where liability cannot be excluded, it shall be limited to the amount you paid for access to the software or site, if any. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the project and contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the software, violation of these Terms or infringement of third‑party rights. You are responsible for compliance with export control, sanctions and similar regulations; do not use or distribute the software where such use or distribution is prohibited, and do not authorize access by sanctioned persons or in sanctioned jurisdictions. Availability of the website may be suspended, limited or withdrawn without notice for security, operational or legal reasons; the software can be built and used without the site, subject to upstream availability. We may modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology or our practices; material changes will be signaled by updating the date above, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Questions about these Terms may be directed to contact@sollet-wallet.net. By continuing to access the website or use community builds after reading this document, you confirm that you understand both the limits of our role as a community packaging effort and your own responsibilities for verification, key management and safe deployment in your environment.
